Sound like your battery might be giving you some trouble. A battery can have a bad cell and not allow the vehicle to start even when jumping it. But the other thing you can try while the other vehicle is jumping your car, is to take a long pry bar and a hammer and hit the starter lightly while a friend cranks the engine. If it starts while lightly hitting it you need a new starter. If it does end up being a battery then make sure you check your charging system that could be the reason your battery died in the first place. Good luck hope this helps point you in the right direction.

Thanks Robert , the battery was indeed bad , but it didn't solve my issue when I bought a brand new one, the lights and radio work now, but the car makes no noise when turning the ignition.

Now check your starter as mentioned above if it starts then you will need a new one. Let me know there may be another issue.
