Sluggish acceleration 1992 BMW 325IS

When I accelerate fast but not flooring it, It picks up speed in incurments. What could this be? I'm thinking it's a clogged Cat but not sure. Can anyone help me & tell me what this could be?

When I do floor it, it goes & you don't feel it accelerating in incurments. Could it still be bad throutle position sensor?

Replace your air and fuel filter, throw in a bottle of good injector cleaner. See if this does anything to aleviate your sluggish performance.

I've done that. The first thing I did was change the air, fuel filters, plugs & oil. I've also put 2 bottels of injector cleaner in it within the past 2 months. I just can't figure it out. I'd like too fix this problem myself if possible.
