At how many miles should front pads and brakes be replaced?

30 thousand miles...but due to types..harhness..inspect at every oil change..

It could be 10,000 or 60,000 depending on what kind of driving you do and your driving style. I like to inspect the brakes when rotating tires as the brake calipers are easy to access with the tires off.

There is no specific mileage interval for brake pad replacement ,since every driver experiences different driving condition. Like, the others have said, inspect them after every oil service.
