This is a problem with the final drive control module. It needs to be flashed with updated programming. Only a Chrysler/Dodge dealership can do this. Its a proprietary item with exclusive software from the manufacturer.

Same solution. Once it gets stuck in hi range or low range and says service 4 wheel drive it still requires the same solution. When the final drive control module gets conflicting info you still have the problem. Doesn't matter which range it is in at the time. It might be covered by a recall. If not its very pricey. Anywhere from $600 to $750 to flash the module with the updated programming for the computer.

For no reason, the 4 low, Traction control, and service 4wd lights came on....I never touched the control knob.
