Was adding transmission fluid does car have to be
at ruñning temperature when checking that fluid is
topped off flowing through plug at side of
transmission pan? My car took 8.5 quarts before it
begin oozing out of plug! Did not replace for 4 to 5
years?

Thanx Tom I made a big mistake and was checking for fluid to flow while engine was running and only 2 car jacks on front end of car! Will excess fluid drain out when I recheck the proper way?
