Question type: Maintenance & Repair

What kind of major maintenance do I need to
do on my 2011 Lincoln MKX once it reaches
100,000 miles. I just bought it with 98k miles.
Does it like a timing belt replacement?

Your engine has a timing chain which does not need routine replacement.

I would go ahead and install new spark plugs.

I checked the codes on my 2009 mkx at about 112k. It had some codes which pointed to a/c fan malfunction. There was no check engine light. The dealers say you need to replace both fans and also o'reilly auto parts. The dealer price was about $400 just for parts so I bought at o'reilly at about $225 as I recall. My auto repair shop put the fan assembly in for $100. It doesn't take long to install like less than one hour. I got a better price than usual.
