I have a 2011 traverse that everytime I attempt to start it up everything blanks out and I can't start my truck

That might be a weak/dying battery. Try a jump start and drive it to an auto parts store to have battery and alternator tested.

Also try cleaning the battery terminals. Could be corroded. Wear gloves before you do that though.
