Should I install an Interface or not?

Asked by John May 29, 2021 at 03:09 PM about the 2011 Chevrolet HHR 1LT FWD

Question type: Car Customization

I want to install an aftermarket stereo in my 2011
Chevy HHR LT. My car has no steering wheel
controls for the factory radio, only controls for cruise
control, oil life, tire pressure etc. Do I still need to
install an aftermarket interface for the stereo or will I
lose my chimes and warnings if I don't?

Thanks

Crutchfield sells aftermarket car audio systems and have techs available for that kind of information. They will sell you the correct system and wiring with help and diagrams. HTHs
