My chevy aveo has no brake lights on the round lens but has lights on the back window that work. is their a switch on my brake pedal i need to replace.

if that switch was bad the u would have no brake lights at all could be just burn bulbs it seems too new to have a multifunction switch go out but could also be a possibility

Do the turn and reverse bulbs work? If not, check for a bad ground wire. If they work, follow the wires from the tails to the third brake light and look for a loose connector or damage. It's all right there in the trunk.
