When I turn on AC, the engine dies?

When I turn on AC, the engine dies? Problem started after replacing heater
hose.

i can't think of why the heater hose would have anything to do with it? I guess you could double check your work, make sure you didn't bump any electrical connectors. My first thought was about your idle? A lot of times the computer will raise the idle when you turn on ac to keep the vehicle from stalling. I looked up your vehicle in my database, it shows drive by wire throttle. TAC/throttle actuator control. Any codes relating to that system? Clean the throttle bore and around throttle plate, don't force the throttle plate. Just my opinion. good luck
