Car has difficulty starting

Asked by Lana Aug 25, 2016 at 02:19 PM about the 2005 Ford Focus ZX5 S

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

A few days ago, my car began having issues, when
I  start it. Went to Autozone, checked electronics,
batterly, replaced spark plugs, issue is not going
away. Car is not new, but well maintained, wonder
what other issues it may have, that are an easy fix
before I take it to a dealer.

Try some general maintenance things first. Check and replace air filter if necessary, clean throttle with throttle body cleaner, add fuel injector cleaner to gas tank and replace fuel filter if have not done so in awhile.
