starting problem

Asked by Don Jun 27, 2018 at 08:21 PM about the 2010 Dodge RAM 1500 Laramie Quad Cab 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2010 ram 1500 4x4 that has been having a starting problem. When I
turn the key, in park, I hear a click but it doesn't turn over. When I shift it to
neutral it will start most of the time. It happens mostly when it's warmed up or
hot and sometimes only clicks in Neutral, too. I had the starter replaced and
the battery checked out okay.  Replaced the battery connectors, too but not
all the battery cables.
