2010 chevy silverado power window problems

Question type: General

I have a 2010 Chevy Silverado LT. The front window on the drivers side will not go up or down, and the passenger window (front) is sporadic. I am trying to find out what the problem is and if I need to replace the whole wiring assembly or what. All of the other windows work fine, can anyone tell me what the problem is and what parts I would need to repair this issue. BTW some of the wires on the electrical harness are very crimped and the plastic coating is very thin. The system has power, but when you go to let the window down, it, seems as,if the power is gone and once the window is done you can't get it to go back up without using a hot wire to get it to go up

Possibly bad driver side control switch, does the switch on the passenger side work properly or is the problem on the driver control switch only

Thanks CamaroCollector, yes it is the drivers side control switch that does not work, the passenger side works fine.

My fiancee has a 5th wheel hauler 2010 GMC Siverado so I imagine it's a a 2500 extended cab. Nevertheless only his driverside window won't go up or down. He also has problems with air conditioning and heating. You can barely feel the cool air when on but it's not enough power to really make a difference in hear. Perhaps the a digital power flaw in both. Same for the mirror
