Nissan Murano Alarm System

Asked by Fastpace97 Jan 31, 2014 at 12:49 PM about the 2010 Nissan Murano SL AWD

Question type: General

Is there somewhere that I can get my security system turned on without paying the dealership?  We recently purchased a 2010 Murano and they wanted to charge us a fortune to "turn it on"....I would think if the car comes with a system, it would be turned on with the purchase of the car.  :-(    Highly disappointed!

Down load this PDF. If it's a factory alarm, it will tell you how to activate it in the owners manual. http://www.nissanusa.com/pdf/techpubs/murano/2010/2010-Nissan- Murano.pdf

Yes I believe it is factory that came with the car. I tried that website you gave me and it didn't work??? I do have the original manual in the car (is that what you're talking about), if so, where would I find the answer at?

Just flip through the manual until you see the heading "ALARM SYSTEM". Then just start reading.......
