what are causes for shift paddles on a 2010 vw cc lux VR6 4 Motion to stop working

Asked by MackAmur Sep 05, 2015 at 10:30 PM about the 2010 Volkswagen CC VR6 4Motion AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I took my car into local dealer, they replaced the radio controls and then the paddle shifter no longer worked.
Long story short I don't trust the dealer to go back again

Maybe the dealer did something wrong when replacing the radio controls. Oh, and take into consideration that paddle shifters' suck!

Since you don't trust the dealer, you will have to find a really good mechanic in a really good independent garage- look for a garage with really nice expensive cars out front- maybe some classics too- that means the mechanics might know their stuff-
