what year motors fit a 2010 mini cooper base convertible?

my 2010 min has over 200K on motor and now needs replacing. I've found a
couple of 2007/2008 motors with around $100K for $600 each...will they fit?

Find a good online forum dedicated to Mini's and ask there, they will likely have you compare engine codes/stamping for compatibility. This is a fairly general "how to buy/sell" forum.
