Question type: Maintenance & Repair

V8 4.6 engine.  Vehicle died while driving once or twice months ago, no code.  Vehicle hard to start after fill-up twice about a month ago, no code.  While driving today with 3/4 take of gas check engine light came on.  Code 1450 (evap system).  I know what parts are involved, just want to know if anyone has an answer before I begin pulling everything apart.
