Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2010 F-150 4.6 V8 is 36 month old.  Purchased new.  Change oil every 5K with full synthetic.  20K miles at most recent oil change today.  First time I actually measured.  Seems to have used about 1 quart out of 6 since last change about 9 months / 5K miles ago.  Question.  Would that amount of oil loss appear to be acceptable/usual or something to investigate.  There is no leak, I've checked.
