From Michigan to Texas. I dont want to keep the car but if it's possible to get me to Texas then I will sell it when I get there

Getting to Austin may be the least of your problems! The road from Dallas to Austin is completely under construction, adding or doubling the ride from Dallas to Austin and from Temple to Austin. It is very expensive - a two bedroom apt. will cost $1200-$1800 month.

It so happens that I talked to my cousin living in Texas, Dallas, and was telling me about the road construction that Linda has mentioned. The road is totally under construction and one way traffic at different spots, he drove to Austin last Saturday and took him almost two extra hours, and the traffic was not heavy. So, you need to be prepared. I would rather sell the car and fly there, but have a good trip either way.
