Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Installed new sensors(923307 VDO redi sensor from NAPA) on jeep wheels
along with new set of tires..Reset system with Bartec Tech 400 Pro,  Light stays
off for approx 10 seconds, then comes back on.  Is this vehicle supposed to
have sensor in spare?  Any suggestions on getting TPMs light off ?

Depending on model of your jeep but if you have a full size tire on back tailgate it will mostly need a sensor. Make sure the valve stem is at 12 O'clock on the spare and check your Bartec 400 pro to make sure it has the most recent updates and charged fully. When doing the relearn on your Bartec is should step you thru the relearn process and also indicate number of sensors on vehicle starting at the front left and working your away around clockwise. Also how old is your jeep and how many miles.

On the back of the REDI-Sensor Box there is a 800 # you can call for assistance. They are great to work with and you will be speaking directly with VDO REDI-Sensor Tech Support.

I've ordered original sensors. Will install when in and report on whether or not that was the problem.

installed OE sensors(56029479AB), used the driving relearn process, light went out after half mile. I'm learning that a Jeep is in a class all by itself!!!

Please call our Tech Line 800-265-1818 and leave your number to have Sean call you back.
