It was giving 4 codes... 1. ESP/TCS Indicator Light 2. Malfunction Indicator Light 3. Electronic Throttle Control Light 4. ESP/BAS Indicator Light.

Husband thinks replacing battery may have shorted out throttle body...? Any chance the wheel bearing/speed sensor would cause the gas petal to not respond?

Code ESP/TSC it's for traction control system and this code it's not effects for vehicle throttle. There is code for TP this code for throttle position sensor but my advice there is on gas pedal control for throttle can you check the connector may be it's loss.

We replaced the electronic throttle control and still had to tow it to dealership to be programmed... not sure why the ETC went bad!
