I have a 2010 Grand Caravan-there are times when I will get out to my vehicle and the windows will be partially down-this most often happens during extremely hot days, especially when I don't leave the vent windows open in the back-is there some strange fail-safe that causes this? Can it even be fixed? I'd hate to have that happen allowing someone to steal stuff out of my vehicle.

It is your key fob. My key fob will open the windows and unlock the door as I walk away. I have had to keep it in the car in a bag that blocks the sensor from being received. As my keys have gotten older ( 2010 dodge Grand Caravan) they will shoot off at will and with out making a sound. It stared happening a year ago and it will open the windows after 3 triggers on the sensor. it even opened my gate and I do not have the gate open function. It has to be isolated or replaced. I use the old fashioned key that is in the fob to open my car and leave the fob protected in the car. Good luck.
