I know Subaru say's a lot of strange things. Without direct inspection everything is merely a guess Inspect the half shafts / CV axles... rubber dust maybe a boot destroyed, Crashing noise, clicking ,clunking grinding, no lubrication and destroyed CV joint(s) a possibility. "maintenance centre says that both things are regular and that's ok"
