Bad Brake Pedal engages when only pused to floor

My Kia Sedona brakes only engage when brake petal reaches floor, not good

No note good, sounds as if you have air in the system or you are really low on fluid or air may be entering the booster. DO NOT DRIVE THE CAR !

After you check all the easy stuff that goes with brake pedal drop try this. Pull the booster and master. Note the adjustable rod that comes out the booster at the master cylinder side.with a caliper measure the length of that rod NOW Measure the depth of the cup on the MC from where it sits against the booster to the inside of the cup where the rod comes out of the MC. Adjust the rod at the booster so it is about .25in space between that ROD and the MC seat in the cup. Put it all together . Bleed the brakes. IT WORKED FOR ME
