Transmission

Asked by Corinna Jul 31, 2017 at 05:23 PM about the 2010 Jeep Liberty Limited 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

We replaced the water pump and fan clutch yesterday and
now when we drive the jeep the transmission shifts but
not as fast as it should. We had no problem with the
transmission until we replaced the water pump and fan
clutch. My husband seems to think the transmission is
losing power somewhere. What would cause this?

1 Answer

The water pump and fan clutch have nothing at all to do with how your transmission functions. Check your ATF level.
