Why is my A/C working intermittently ?

blows cold 80 % of the time but sometimes when I accelerate it stops blowing
cold. After i slow down or stop it picks back up to cold.

What you describe is normal operation for a modern AC. Long ago, when we had oil to spare and nobody even knew what climate change was, an AC would run constantly. Today the computer shuts it off when the TPS reaches 80%. If you want constant AC, just stop flooring the accelerator.
