Can 2010 RAV4 2WD make it to ALASKA?

I’m considering traveling from NM To AK. Toyota
Dealership just replaced a gasget. Stated that I
may to do a strut repair etc which amounts to
1000 dollars plus. What is required to take care if
before I chose to make such a round trip?

Take TWO spare tires, a tire plug kit and a compressor! Do the struts before you leave as this is a rough road. Are you thinking of doing this trip in the Winter??

I would not take this trip until you have driven the car long enough to work out any problems before you go to AK.
