regular running of a dodge sxt journey

looking find out a potential problem for my cuv, to me seems high to rev to 4000 rpm or
higher when merging on to a highway as well as when pulling my trailer 21ft 2700lbs it
stays for long periods of time at 3500 to 4000 rpms, is this normal  any help on this would
be great thanks

your engine and or transmission cooking? that's what may happen, you understand that if you're pulling a weight everything will be tougher...there is a speed limit too for trucks with a trailer and must stay in the right lane...for a reason...don't be expecting this setup to act like your sportscar~
