2010 sebring touring heater issue

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

It has hot (110-120 degrees) air on driver's side and cool air on passenger side. It is not
a dual temp unit. Loses all heat once you get on the highway but the heater core
remains hot on both inlet and outlet. I've already replaced the thermostat(was stuck
open). I flushed it he system twice. I'm at a loss. I need some advice! Thanks in advance

Hi try flushing the heater core separate....// the way the heater core is made the inlet and the outlet next to each other... if the core starts to plug on the father side it will actually bypass plugged part of the core section and take the least path of resistance...the way it sits in the box half the ducts on the pass side and half on the drivers ...which ever side is plugged doesn't get heat ...Chrysler has been having issues with radiators and heater cores plugging due to coolant contamination ...// I checked but your year does not come up as one of them....also make sure your doors inside the heater box are working correctly...the control panel may say its on hot but the door may be broken blocking off the air from going through the heater core and around it instead

My Mom's 2010 Sebring is having a similar issue. Did flushing the heater core solve your problem?
