Asked by Tramaine Aug 26, 2017 at 01:07 AM about the 2010 Honda Civic LX

Question type: General

My car was recently Side swiped,  my passenger
door was dented and pushed back it jammed my
back door on the passenger Side as well..  I just
recently replaced my doors and fixed the dent,  but
someone Said i should be careful because my car
could possibly be totaled if there is damage done
to my frame.  Someone else disagreed & Said Not
to worry cause my car is a unibody?  Im so worried
now.  Plz Help!

I'm not an expert... but, recently had a conversation with someone who is.... they specifically told me that a "unibody constructed" has MORE integrity than a bolted on frame.... I wouldn't worry about unless someone tells you otherwise.... Besides, there's nothing you can do about it after the fact.... Just drive your car...and be thankful that it's fixed..
