I have a 2010 Honda Civic Coupe. Recently before the car is warmed up in the morning, the car has been sputtering while in idle while only in reverse. When I put it in drive it seems to go back to normal, and later in the day (after the car is warmed up) the problem seems to go away. Any thoughts?

What I usually do is take a spray bottle and mist your coil packs and plug wires. See if you notice if the idle changes or the car begins to run rough. You may also hear a snapping sound. That means one of your coil packs is bad. I have heard of moisture getting down into the spark plug holes causing a coil pack to short out.
