How far can I drive after the warning lights appear in the fuel guage?

It's not just the threat of running out of gas you should worry about when running the tank that low, you also have to be concerned with sucking up all the gunk from the bottom of the tank into the fuel pump filter and possibly clogging it, or putting undue strain on the pump since it utilizes the fuel in the tank to keep itself cooled when operating. So it's just not a good idea to run the tank that low.
