Which car will last longer?

Asked by Mark Jul 27, 2015 at 05:09 PM about the 2010 Subaru Outback 2.5i Limited

Question type: General

In the long term,  will a 2010 Subaru Outback Limited hold up better from a mechanical
and hardware perspective than a 2009 Toyota Prius?   And why?  Please state your
reasons for each.   And, if you think they'll both last equally,  tell me that as well.
Thanks.

Aleksandr - I have both of these cars and I was leaning towards the Subaru Outback only because it's a larger engine, and Subaru cars have known to go 300,000 miles. On the other hand, many Toyota Prius cars log over 200,000 miles as well. What was your reasoning? Just curious?
