Could be many things, start with some general things. Put gauges on system to see if you have a low charge. Condenser not expelling heat. Air in system and not enough room for the maximum refrigerant. Likewise with moisture in system. Fix leak if low on refrigerant then replace accumulator, vacuum and recharge with correct lbs of refrigerant.
