Trouble lights, what do the mean?

Asked by Guru67TZ7 Apr 06, 2020 at 09:59 PM about the 2010 Subaru Forester 2.5 X Premium

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Have 3 lights come on at same time. Anti Skid, check engine and on/off
flashing of cruise control light. Intermittent occurrence. Drive for awhile and
usually they turn off. However when on, the fuel tank shuts off what I assume
is an anti-spill valve and can not put fuel into tank.

They're unrelated. Imps/Fors have a defective valve in the fuel tank system. Ugly repair...try to get Subaru to perform goodwill under extended warranty.

Ok. Really the only time fuel will not go into tank, is when the 3 lights mentioned are on. What are the trouble lights(especially the Anti-Skid & flashing cruise con.) supposed to tell me? Been happening for 2years now. I don't drive off road or in snow/mud(live in Hawaii). Have to disconnect neg. bat. terminal to turn off lights, before filling with fuel sometimes.
