I hit a racoon last night alomst dead on now my AC does not work, would that be a cause?

If you ran over him, AC not working is strange and could be a coincidence. If the animal hit your vehicle in the front grill area, the check the condenser for leaks - looks like the radiator. Does the compressor cycle on/off?

Of course, the AC condenser is located behind the front bumper and in front of the radiator. It probably got damaged, or one of the lines causing a leak of refrigerant.
