Hesitation from a slowdown

2010 Legacy 3.6R (5spd Auto, 800 mi) - Is anyone else suffering from Hesitation? Starting from a dead stop is great, but...
You're going to make a left so you slow down to about 10; you see an opening in oncoming traffic and decide to go; step on the gas and NOTHING for 3-5 seconds (or long enough for your heart to jump up into your throat) then it lunges forward. Subaru had it for 2 days, even called corporate. Every one on their lot did it. "It's normal". NORMAL?!?!? Emotionally I can't handle it. Can I make them buy it back or do I just take the loss and trade it?

It's not normal, hesitation and stuttering, common problems and its all because of the map, simple solution is to remap at a good tuner, but that might kill your warranty, best solution is for the dealer to do it but they are usually too dumb to understand what that means, are those cars built in the us or imported?

My wife has the same problem with her 2010 Legacy 3.6R. I have not taken it to the dealer. I am very interested in the fix for this.

Our 2010 Legacy 3.6R had the hesitation issue. I researched and found that Subaru issued a service bulletin instructing dealers to load new software to correct. This was done while we waited AT NO COST and has things operating as desired. This could be a safety issue (unless you get used to the delay).
