2010 mb e350 blower motor stays running for a long period of time after the car is shut down

If this just started happening recently, it might be a stuck heater motor blower relay. The engine cooling fan may do that too for the same reason....stuck relay. Or it might be designed that way and you finally noticed it. Also, if your car has a turbo, I have seen them with a cooling fan that runs even after the engine is off. I think that is designed that why so the "heat soaked" turbo doesn't cook the oil cooling it while engine is stopped.
