Grinding sound from 2010 navigator while under a 1000

noise from the rear end itself??? or noise from the back of car????????????????????????????????

check your brakes , roll the car at low speed 5 mph and engage the emergency brake , see if you need pads /shoes

It sounds like it's coming from the right rear tire but I checked both rear brakes and they where fine

If you let off on the Gas pedal the grinding noise goes away
