Ticking sound in the front only when the ac is running

When you turn the ac on there is a ticking sound
coming from the front end... as u turn the ac on
higher it gets louder and turn it off it stops. You
can hear it inside the vehicle as well as outside the
vehicle.

If it makes the same noise with the heat on perhaps there is an obstruction or blower is out out of balance. If that checks out would have a look at your clutch pulley. The bushing on the clutch plate may be clanking around when a/c clutch is engaged or the pulley bearing is wobbling rubbing a part on the engine housing. Might also be a good time to check for belt wear too.
