Asked by Shurnb01 Jan 25, 2019 at 08:44 AM about the 2010 Chevrolet Equinox LTZ AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2010 equinox ltz and all of a sudden
yesterday on my information screen it reads
engine power reduced  but the car was
hesitating and  was shaking and carrying on
giving it gas would only make it worse then
the screen read stability control needs to be
serviced! What could be wrong I’ve read so
many things

1 Answer

Same thing happened to my 2011 equinox last year. It ended up being the high pressure fuel pump. Found out this is a common issue. The other common issue is the timing chain. Just fixed it last month.
