engine light and traction light are on and the car is running rough .I had to have it jumped to start then there is no power when i step on the gas.

My car needed to be jumped to start then when i came out of work it started
but the engine light and traction light were on. There was no real power when
I stepped on the gas peddal . I did drive it home and the engine ran rough. I
was a little ,just a little overdue for an oil change. There are other electrical
problems as well.

The first thing to do is...Have it read for codes, even if the check engine light is NOT on the computer will have stored information and codes. Discount auto stores will read codes for no fee. Write them down.How many miles on it?
