Cargurus "Online financing" Where, on this site, do buyers/sellers have access to finding out more info?

Asked by Mare Nov 21, 2018 at 12:21 PM about the 2010 Chevrolet Aveo 5 LS Hatchback FWD

Question type: General

I'm selling my car & an individual  inquire "I’m interested in your car. But I have one problem, I don’t have all the money all together. Would you be ok if I pay you in payments?"

I see there is an option for buyers to use "Online financing if you need it. You'll receive a dedicated representative to help you at every step of the way."

I went to an associated link and it doesn't talk about the process or exactly where this option can be accessed in the site.

Does anyone have actual direct EXPERIENCE with using the Cargurus Online Financing?  Or selling a car.  I've only sold to dealers and on Craigslist.

If this person knew he could attempt applying for financing with the help of Cargurus it might change his mind and get me a sale quicker.

Thank you

Cargurus got back with me and said the same thing. So, Cargurus does not have it's own and anyone can simply go to their bank or credit union and get a loan. The man inquiring about my vehicle is obviously not ready to buy a car and hoped to pay me $500 down and $500 a month. This was the exact type of business I was hoping to avoid using Cargurus. I'd love to know experience from someone who has ACTUAL REAL EXPERIENCE with selling on Cargurus, whether or not, their buyer payed upfront or via loan doesn't matter. Not sure of this platform for private sellers . . . Thanks again Gurus!
