How many miles in the vehicle? When you change the oil you should only put the exact amount required, no more, no less. So what you are saying is that you have to put one quart or oil between changes, correct?. Most cars with over 100,000 miles require about one quart of oil between oil changes, this is part of the normal wear of the engine.
