window electrics faulty

drivers window wont go down, when i checked with a test light their is power at
the switch i have dismantled the window regulator, taken the power lead off the
window motor, when i put the test light on the cable to the motor and press the
drivers switch the test light comes on for a split second then theirs a click and
the light goes off,  any help please.

The drivers door window not only has a switch, it has sensors & relays that stop the window at its extremities of movement. It sounds like you have bad electrical relay.
