ABS harness replacement

Asked by GuruDY3CK Aug 13, 2017 at 07:04 PM about the 2010 Buick LaCrosse CXL FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I had the tracking control light on and the mechanic told me to replace the front right ABS wheel speed sensor connector. After two days the same light come on, and the same mechanic told me to replace now, the front right one. Please can you tell me is this the real problem, or some code reading error in my car? If yes, please, can you tell me what kind of harness fits for my car to buy it online?
Thank You!
Vlad

What code is it? Some codes are fixed by a simple cleaning of the magnet on the head of the sensor. It attracts metal shavings and cannot read the reluctor ring. Have you replaced both sensors to the wheel? If I understand correctly you need the wire continuing from the end of the sensor wire to the abs module? Does it have high resistance?
