Short vibration when shifting into in low gears

Asked by xxx45 Jun 05, 2014 at 09:16 AM about the 2010 Toyota Corolla S

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2010 Toyota Corolla.  It's manual. When I'm stopped and proceed to start moving
there is a one second vibration coming from the front end when my foot is almost off the
clutch. The vibration also happens when shifting into 2nd gear, but not the rest. Any idea
what it could be?

my 1996 corolla does the same,Im guessing I need a new clutch plate. Its been doing that for the last 100,000 ks as my car has 445,000 ks on it.so Im gunna keep driving till it gets worse.
