What are my best options for selling a recently purchased car?

Asked by busdrivers44 Jul 01, 2013 at 05:36 PM about the 2010 Toyota Corolla LE

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

I purchased a used car just a few weeks ago because I thought I would need it due to family circumstance. Now my situation has drastically changed, and I no longer need the car. Any advice on re-selling? Just bring it back to the dealer? Re-finance it with a bank and try to sell it on my own?

You should be able to recover most or all of what you paid, if you didn't put thousands of miles on it. Just may take time. If you need to 'unload it' in a hurry drop the asking price, or have patience and it will eventually sell, Corollas are in high demand, especially 2006 to 2010 models, that is the range where the price has significantly dropped from new but still has plenty of value. Toyotas hold re sale value better than most. My 2006 is still worth what I paid for it over a year ago,
