Rebecca- we have a 2009 Toyota Prius and one of the wheel bearings went out...it really depends on where and how you drive and overall mileage on the car...street potholes can be really bad. Try to avoid these whenever you can... Brakes are also a direct function of how you drive. Do you live in the hills, also is a major factor..?? All new cars brakes are complicated, don't know what you mean by Advanced ??

You replaced a hub bearing and halfshaft, confirm the "new" half shaft (axle) has the tone ring.. Confirm the replacement part number is correct. NEXT go back and check the WSS (wheel speed senor) was not damaged when you replaced the halfshaft, check the connector to the WSS too. A simple scan with the wheels rotating will confirm all wheels report MPH.. Most likely a bad / damaged WSS easy fix.
