can anyone explain why an "engine oil pressure to low " message would keep coming up on my display. I have driven the car and the light comes on then goes off repeatedly. I have driven over 500 miles

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have driven over 500 miles with this issue. The vehicle seems to run fine. Is
the sensor bad? any answers would be greatly appreciated.

Could be the sensor, also may be the passage way that the sensor is screwed into is somewhat plugged up restricting oil flow to the sensor. Should just get it verified.

"engine oil pressure too low" could be very serious or nothing at all. Get it checked.
